The Quiller Gallery was established in 1970 by Stephen Quiller, a painter who has lived and worked in the southern Colorado mountains for over thirty years.

Stephen is most known for his use of color, color theory, and his approach to water media painting. Stephen has written many books and produced numerous videos pertaining to these subjects, and has a number of top-quality art materials that he endorses. Artists worldwide use Stephen's products and books, and his work is now collected internationally.
